The arrival of a Z-Fighter « Thread Started on Jul 24, 2008, 10:24pm »
Goten found himself wondering around the first city he had found in this new land. He hadn't learned much since he was transported here, other than the worlds name was Astrom, and that the place was WEIRD.
I mean, Dog People?! And they said I was weird for having a tail!
He continued to walk into the town, extremely hungry from all of the traveling he had done. He tried his hardest to look for something to eat among the crowded streets and pet poop, but there was nothing he could find. Everything was in some strange language he hadn't ever heard of. He was so confused, he finally conceded to walking around with his head down.
This proved to be a mistake, as he bumped into many different people. Most thought he was some kind of vagrant, and simply brushed off his rudeness. But one man Goten happened to shove aside was a sailor on shore leave, and he was not about to have any of Gotens nonsense.
'Hey, punk!' Shouted the sailor. 'Whats the big idea, bumping into me like that?!' The sailor seemed extremely easily agitated, and immediately grabbed Goten by the shoulder, to get his attention.
Goten payed him no attention, however. Perhaps Goten simply didn't feel the man on his shoulder, or maybe he didn't care? Well, whatever the reason was for Goten ignoring the sailor, it infuriated him even more. The sailor cocked back, and swung at the back of Gotens head.
Now, while Goten is a Saiyan hybrid, this punch was surprisingly strong. Not strong to the point that it made Goten fall, but it did make Goten stumble slightly.
After regaining his footing, Goten turned to the sailor, "Whats the big idea, you big jerk! That kinda hurt!" Goten said, holding his hands on his head. No sooner had he finished his sentence, had the sailor started barreling towards him.
"Wwwoooaahh, here we go!" Goten said, as he took a few feet into the air, and hovered there, waiting for this man to make his next move. "You seem pretty tough, I wonder if you could take it if I used the Kamehameha against you?"
Obviously this human would be torn to shreds if he did so, so instead Goten sat three feet above the heads of the citizens of Cronus, and playfully fired Ki Blasts at the feet of his attacker.
"Hahaha!" Goten laughed, and smiled widely, "Not so tough now, are ya?"

"Never understood tact, now did you Goten?" A voice came from behind the half-Saiyan, one which the young male should surely be able to figure out quite quickly. For Trunks was floating above the ground as well, only about five feet behind his best friend. His arms were crossed, yet he was wagging the pointer finger on his right hand to and fro as he spoke. He was holding back his excitement, would never reveal it to Goten...It was just who he was, had to keep up the facade that his friend was so much more of a child than he.
Yet how had he gotten there so quickly? Well, it was truly coincidence oddly enough. Trunks had been traveling through Cronus in an attempt to discover what was going on in the town, why everyone seemed to own at least one slave, when he had sense a heightened power level. It was nothing insane, surely wouldn't have caught his attention back on Earth, but this was not Earth. So he had dashed towards the power, thinking he would catch a glimpse of one of the new Gods...He was definitely more than surprised when he saw Goten floating there, tearing large chunks out of the sidewalk with his ki blasts...It took every ounce of Trunks's will for him to not just tackle him right then and there

"Trunks!" Never one for subtly, Goten tackled his friend in an uncontrollable fit of joy. "Oh man, its awesome to see you! I can't believe you're here, too! How'd you get here? Are our dads here? Do you think anyone else we know got sucked through that hole in the sky? Is that how you got here, too? Man, I have soooo much to tell you!" Goten went on, in his normal fashion when he was excited about something, hardly stopping to breath.
The man that Goten had been playing with had since ran away, seeing the chance to escape, and taking it.
"So, where can we get some food around here, huh??" Goten says, with a grin.

The tackle sent Trunks soaring from the sky, the poor male slamming hard into the ground in just a few seconds. His body slid across the brick flooring, cutting into it...Goten always had a way of forgetting how powerful he was. Yet at least this time he had tackled someone who would not feel extreme pain from the boy's extremely hyper nature.
"Heh, I am not sure if you like the kind of food they serve here." Trunks admitted as he tried to push his friend off, it being needed to continue the breathing process. Yet he was smiling, a slight chuckle left his lips once he had finished speaking....His time here would at least be entertaining now.

"Oh, I don't mind! As long as I have something to put in my stomach, I'll be happy!" Goten said, happily getting up from the ground, and helping his friend up in the process.
"So, what kind of stuff can we do once we've gotten something to eat?" Persisting on eating, as he always did. But his hunger aside, Goten was anxious to train with his best friend; it had been some time since they had seen each other.
"You think the people of this city will be angry I messed up their streets?" Goten said, scratching the back of his head, and looking around at all of the damage he had caused.

"I get the odd feeling they won't care as long as you do not touch their...property." Trunks stated as he nodded his head towards an Astromian who was walking what seemed to be a human female. She was on all fours, wearing rags as he pulled her with a leash. It was disgusting to imagine, only person he had ever known to think something of the sort was needed was his own father...But he was not going to start a fight over it yet.
"We can do whatever we need in order to find The Dragonballs...I think they're here." He informed Goten, his gaze shifting to his best friend. He could not help but smirk as he said this, knowing good and well that life was about to go back to how it was in his younger days...Him and Goten fighting the largest of creatures for the Dragonballs, it would be fun to say the least.

'DRAGONBALLS?!!" Goten yelled, positively ellated at the idea of retrieving those magical orbs once again! It had been years since the two had been on such an adventure, and he decided that his hunger could wait, and that he wanted to start immediately.
"Trunks, you are going to think I am crazy when I say this, but I want to start looking...now" Goten said, pointing to his stomach, "Eating can wait"
