Nation, in this emotionally charged time of global crisis and economic fatigue, we all look to a beacon of hope.
What is this beacon of hope? This pillar of justice? This model of truthiness? Who better to protect us from the number one threat to America (Bears)? None other than Americans number one anchor, in the absence of all other national anchors due to overseas coverage of the war in Iraq, Stephen Colbert.
In his book, I am America (And So Can You!), Stephen outlines many helpful life lessons, like how to find love. He also instructs us on how to be proper Americans, and who is better suited to teach us such a valuable lesson? Other than George Washington, I can't think of anyone better, than Stephen.
I propose a three dollar bill with Stephens face on it to be made, to even out the playing field.
But one American doesn't share my Colbert philosophy, or as I like to refer to it as; Colbertology. Why, none other than NY Times writer Janet Maslin, quoted in her October 8th, 2007, article, saying that Stephens book "Expanded upon the Colbert persona, that of a self-loving loudmouth perched on the famous fine line between stupid and clever"
This is utterly unacceptable. Janet, you're lucky no one I know reads this 'NY Times', or whatever you're calling a newspaper that desecrates the fine name of an American hero.
But, we call can't agree, its one of the best things about the country (sometimes). Although, there is one thing I can agree with, you should go out and read I am America, (And So Can You!)!
This has been Demon King,
Janet Maslin, you're on notice.
